One of the best ways to reach the young men in Haiti is through soccer (fùtbol).  They start playing soccer as soon as they're able to kick a ball. They play anywhere that is a little flat, with anything that they can find to play wit, everyone drooling over and dreaming of playing for Brazil or Spain. YWAM Les Cayes decided to use this passion for the sport, to disciple young men. Twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, the gate is opened for them to come practice on our nice field, and a coach comes to teach technique and teach them how to play together. During practice they take a break and sit on the bleachers for Bible Study. Josh gets the privilege of teaching them twice a week. He uses an interpreter for now as the message can get across better that way. He is teaching on different people from the Bible, and different stories that will help these boys as they go to school, homes, and interact with others. Trying to help the young men go from boys to men. Stories such as Joseph and forgiveness, David and being after God's own heart, and Gideon and God can use unlikely people. The boys have very short attention spans, and love to talk and mess around. They are learning how to listen and learn. Some of them get really excited and ask a lot of good questions.
