About Josh
Josh Brown is from the small community of Lustre, Montana. His growing up years were spent farming and ranching on the family farm. He came to know Christ at a young age and started his walk with the Lord early. In 2016, at the age of twelve, he had the privilege to go to Haiti with a local church team. Through this he fell in love with the nation of Haiti and its people. He then continued on with life, graduating from Lustre Christian High School in 2021, and then attending a one-year Bible survey at Montana Wilderness School of the Bible. Meanwhile, Haiti was always in the back of his mind and on his heart.
In the summer of 2022, He returned to Haiti to work with Farmer John's Haiti and IFOSuD farms. This led him to began working at IFOSuD as a farm worker where he helped to start an Awana Program with the FFH kids. Over time the unrest of the country made it unsafe for him to continue work in that region, and Josh was connected with YWAM Les Cayes in Les Cayes, Haiti where he helped lead Bible study for young boys and enjoyed maintenance and farm work there. Desiring to come back as full-time staff, Josh decided to do a 6-month Discipleship Training School in Colorado Springs, CO. Now he has returned as full-time staff at YWAM Les Cayes and is also planning to start a butcher shop in that part of Haiti with the goal of discipling and training young men. His mission is to train up the young Haitians to take the gospel to their people in Haiti and to other nations as well as empower them to start up small businesses that can be used to lead their workers to Christ.
